Who can visit

A community of men, for men discerning a call.

Marmion Abbey is a monastery of Benedictine monks. Vocation visits are reserved for men who are seriously asking whether God is calling them to monastic life. Visits are open only to unmarried men, ages 21 to 45, who are United States citizens. We are not able to assist with visas, immigration, or school admission.

What a visit looks like

Live the life for a few days.

No pressure and no commitment. You keep the monks' schedule, ask honest questions, and see whether this life fits the man God made you to be.
